Do you want to run Android on your computer? Android-x86 project ported to the Android platform, x86, ARM. Android-x86 can be installed on a netbook with compatible hardware, but you can install Android on VirtualBox.
Android can function as a second virtual machine, which will make Windows or Linux virtual machine. It allows you to play with the Android interface and install applications on Android full environment on the computer.
What you need
Before you begin, you will VirtualBox and Android-x86 ISO install inside VirtualBox.
Install VirtualBox:
Download and install VirtualBox if you have it installed.
Android-x86 ISO: You can find the latest Android-x86 ISO files on Google Code. Download the latest - Currently Android 4.2.
Creating a virtual machine Android
Now you can open VirtualBox and create a new virtual machine by clicking on the New button. Go through the wizard and configure your virtual machine with the following parameters:
OS: Linux - Linux 2.6
Memory Size: 512 MB
Hard Drive Size: 3 GB or more
Then turn on the new virtual machine VirtualBox and point to the Android-x86 ISO file you downloaded. The installer will start within a virtual machine.
Select Installation and press Enter to continue.
We will have to create a partition for the Android system. Select Create / Modify partitions and press Enter.
Select a new option with the arrow keys and press Enter to create a new partition in the free space.
Select a primary option and press Enter, and then press Enter again to format the partition occupies the entire virtual disk size that you have created.
Highlight Bootable button and press Enter to boot partition, and then choose to write, and press Enter to write the changes to the virtual disk. You will have to type Yes, and press Enter to confirm the change in writing.
Enable Quit and go back to select the partition.

Once you're done, you can delete the ISO file and restart the virtual machine.
Android should boot you would any other operating system on your virtual machine. As a smartphone or tablet with Android, you have to go through the installation process and, optionally, provide details Google account.
