The electronic cigarette came onto the market in 2007 and today the sales have reached over $1 billion a year in the U.S alone. They have proven to be very popular amongst smokers; however we still don’t know just how safe the electronic cigarette is. Scientists did undertake a study internationally and this claimed that the vapour from an electronic cigarette contains anywhere from 9 to 450 times less toxins.

The various components of an electronic cigarette are typically assembled by screwing or pushing together. There is the LED light which glows during usage and it typically simulates the ember of a normal cigarette when inhaling and exhaling. There is a sensor inside the electronic cigarette which can detect the flow of air when an inhalation is made by the user. This tells the battery to turn on and the heating element is subsequently triggered. Some types of electronic cigarette are turned on and off by the use of a button, which the user presses and holds when they want to inhale the vapour.

There is a slim line battery and this is typically lithium-ion. The average amount of puffs, or inhalations, the user gets from a battery charge is around 300. The electricity is passed through a material that is resistant, which is typically made from metal or ceramic and this is what transfers the heat.

The heating element inside the electronic cigarette reaches around 150 degrees Fahrenheit which vaporizes around 0.005 millilitres of nicotine liquid, producing the vapour which is then inhaled by the user, just as they would when drawing on a cigarette. Each of these hits gives the user roughly 90% of the nicotine they would get when they were smoking a cigarette filled with tobacco.

The nicotine in the electronic cigarette is stored as a viscous fluid; this is generally either vegetable glycerine or propylene glycol or even a 50/50 mixture of both. This contains around 1% nicotine along with flavourings. These can either be fruit, menthol or even tobacco flavour. There are also weird and wonderful flavours to choose from, including anything from Coca-Cola to pina colada, apple pie and anything in between.

Finally there is the flexible tip which is put into the mouth, through which the user inhales the vapour. This is often made of silicone and in some cases it is designed to look and feel just like the filter on a real cigarette. Electronic cigarettes come in different sizes, just as you would get normal or king-size in tobacco cigarettes.

There are many accessories on the market to go with the electronic cigarettes, these typically include USB chargers, either cable like or made to look like the box that cigarettes are packaged in, which keep your electronic cigarettes charged up as the box itself is charged first. Other accessories include wallets and neck straps to hold the cigarette and even desktop holders.

How do electronic cigarettes work?

A new iPad Pro concept cooked up by the folks of German design outfit CURVED Labs demonstrates precisely the kind of product that power users of the Apple slate would probably be seeking. Packing a sumptuous 12.9-inch 4K display of almost 300ppi, the device, which does seem a little idealistic if we’re honest, manages to retain the same thinness as the iPad Air, and although we doubt that Apple could possibly stuff such a high-spec IPS panel in this kind of form factor, it’s not as though Jony Ive and his hardware design team haven’t pulled off similarly improbable feats in the past.

Tim Cook recently alluded to some “new product categories” releasing in 2014, but as you’d expect from the CEO of one of the biggest companies around, he remained tight-lipped regarding specifics. The possibility of Apple joining the likes of Samsung and Sony by delivering a smartwatch to the market is certainly on the cards with the hotly-rumored ‘iWatch’, and the iPhone 6, while not a new product in itself, is particularly exciting given that many sources have touted that two, notably larger models are in the offing.

As well as iWatch and iPhone 6 chit-chat, though, there has also been this lingering idea of an ‘iPad Pro’ manifesting itself at some point this year. With the success of the iPad Air and its smaller counterpart, the iPad mini, there’s a feeling that an iPad ‘maxi’ or ‘iPad Pro,’ would compete the line-up.

It’s a well-known fact that Apple wants to boost its slate’s credentials as a serious device for productive folk as opposed to just a consumption device for gaming and movies, and what better way to underline this intention than to come through with a feature-rich, larger Pro model, akin to the MacBook range?

CURVED Labs certainly thinks the product should be in Apple’s considerations, and as such, has come through with an interesting iPad Pro concept. Samsung’s Galaxy NotePro, which packs a 12.2-inch display, has those workhorse features – like split-screen viewing for running multiple apps simultaneously – that many tablet users crave, and with the iPad Pro, Apple would have the opportunity to cater to that higher-end bracket of the market.

As well as the awesome screen and svelte form factor, the iPad Pro runs on a 64-bit A8 processor, and would take a leaf out of Samsung’s book with support for stylus-like peripherals.

Would you be interested in such an iPad Pro device? Feel free to drool over the images of this truly remarkable design, and be sure to leave your comments below!

The mobile i5's are good for what you are looking for if all you are doing is school work and gaming. Some mobile i5's are dual core with hyper-threading others are quad cores with no hyper-threading.Make sure it is a quad core i5 not a dual core i5 if you want to use your laptop for gaming.

The only true deference between the 3rd gen and 4th gen CPUs are power consumption, the 4th gen CPU's are better for laptops because they will extend your battery life of the laptop, Also Haswell is 10% over all over the 3rd gen CPU's but in real world performance the end user will not be able to tell a true difference between the two chips.

If you are doing projects like video editing/rendering, 3D rendering or graphic designing then the i7's are great for those types of application but when gaming the i7's because of hyper-threading can hurt your FPS in games as almost no game on the market to date utilizes hyper-threading.

If your parents have already bought the 3rd gen i7 laptop then I would not be disappointed for not getting a 4th gen i5 Laptop but if you are still looking and have not purchased the laptop yet, then I would go with the i5 4th gen laptop.

How to differ by Logo

Pulsar 375, Pulsar 200 SS are all things of the past because Bajaj Auto has unveiled two new hot bikes at the 2014 Auto Expo. Both bikes are distant cousins of the KTM Duke 390 but are in concept form currently, the detailing of these vehicles is insane. The bikes are called the Pulsar CS400 and Pulsar SS400, one is a naked street-fighter while the other is a full faired machine. We don’t have much details yet but the engine will be a 373.2cc single-cylinder unit. The bikes have ABS and look really stellar.
The bike has a lot of Ducati influence, visible in the all digital console. We will get more details and update this post but the pictures speak a thousand words so stay tuned as we bring you more from the 2014 Auto Expo.

The Nexus 10 2 remains a rumor, but as we move into the new year attention turns once again to a Samsung made Nexus 10 2 or Nexus 10 2014 edition with updated specs and perhaps a new look for the new year.
In 2013 Google updated the Nexus 7 and introduced the Nexus 5, but only offered an Android 4.4.2 update to the Nexus 10.
For a the latter half of 2013 rumors suggested the Nexus 10 2 release was just around the corner, with several high-profile leaks suggesting Google would go for a fast and quiet Nexus 10 2 release date on Cyber Monday. Even as these dates slipped there were still rumors of a holiday Nexus 10 2 release, but ultimately that did not arrive and we are sitting on the brink of the largest consumer electronics show in the U.S. with a new rumor.
Rumors suggest a Samsung Nexus 10 2 could arrive at CES 2014.
According to the semi-reliable DigiTimes, Samsung and Google are planning to join the crowd of new tablets at CES 2014 with a Nexus 10 2 announcement. The rumor suggests the Nexus 10 2 will also use a Super AMOLED display like many other Samsung devices.

DigiTimes shares gossip and leaks from supply chain partners in Asia and the information is not always reliable, but the publication gets enough of the chatter right to warrant a mention in the run up to the event.
Google will be at CES 2014 in a small room where the company will likely meet with partners and select media, but the company doesn’t appear to have a big presence at the show. Samsung on the other hand typically takes over a huge portion of the show, which is where we would likely see a Samsung made Nexus 10 2 on display if it is announced at CES 2014.
On Monday at 2 PM Pacific Samsung will hold a 45-minute press conference where we expect to see the latest smartphone and tablet technology from the company, along with a wide array of other Samsung made devices. This would be a likely spot for Samsung to announce the Nexus 10 2, but not the only place.
With the Nexus 5, Google let the hype build and build until simply announcing the release on a company blog and putting the device up for sale. It is possible that a Nexus 10 2 could arrive in the same fashion and then show up on the show floor at Samsung to steal some hype away from competitors.
There are many Nexus 10 2 rumors that put the specs and features of the device across the board, depending on which company is making the new Nexus 10. Our Nexus 10 2 Rumor Roundup breaks down the biggest rumors.

With a greater number of TVs than you could shake a stick at, Samsung’s booth at the CES 2013 was really amazing, and now that the CES 2014 is just around the corner, we are having the same expectations from Samsung this time around. Their booth is expected to be the same this time as well. The company has recently made an announcement confirming that it is going to be bringing out the 105-inch curved UHD TV to CES 2014 which is around two weeks away.

The TV has been names as the “most curved” 105 inch TV by Samsung and this must be giving a little counter to LG with its own 105-inch curved TV which was announced earlier this week. The 21:9 aspect ratio on this new TV by Samsung is similar to what has been featured on the 105 inch TV by LG. Moreover, the display itself boasts 11 million pixels for a screen resolution of 5120 x 2160.

A new Samsung Galaxy S5 concept showcases a beautiful metal design, something that the real Galaxy S5 could have on board when it arrives on shelves to replace the current Samsung Galaxy S4.

Rumors suggest that a Samsung Galaxy S5 is on the way to replace the current Galaxy S smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4. Reports point to a launch early next year with a release taking place in March or April. They also point to a souped up device that could potentially come with one feature that consumers have been waiting for for years.

Samsung’s next Galaxy S smartphone is thought to have Android 4.4 KitKat on board, a display that features better resolution and perhaps a small size increase, a Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm, a 16MP camera, and quite possibly, a premium metal design, something that consumers have been campaigning for for years.

That still isn’t set in stone, Samsung does a great job of keeping its smartphone designs under wraps, but we’ve seen a number of designers come up with their own visions of a metal Galaxy S5. The latest from Hassan Kaymak, courtesy of Concept-Phones, depicts a beautiful metal Galaxy S5 that certainly ranks up there with the best Galaxy S5 concepts that we’ve seen.

The design is reminiscent of the HTC One’s aluminum design and it shows what a Samsung-made metal smartphone could look like should one arrive on shelves next year. Of course, there is no telling how close Kaymak’s design is to the real Galaxy S5 as the design still hasn’t leaked out to the surface and likely won’t until much closer to next year’s launch event.

Rumors are still undecided on the design of the real Galaxy S5. We’ve seen reports suggest a design that features a premium metal form factor, we’ve seen rumors suggest a Galaxy Note 3 plastic design and we’ve heard reports suggest that Samsung will debut both. Recently, a rumor suggested that the Galaxy S5 would not feature a metal design due to production issues.

With a Galaxy S5 launch rumored for February or March, consumers will likely be in the dark for several weeks and will instead have to rely on concepts to fuel their anticipation.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 just left the production line before we started hearing about its inevitable successor. A few months later , and persistent noise emanating from the S5 Galaxy rumor mill is hard to ignore . If you are wondering what the next flagship smartphone from Samsung could have in store , then you're in the right place. Here are the most notable rumors Galaxy S5 so far.

The annual release schedule of the flagship smartphone has become fairly standard in recent years . The Galaxy S2 was released in February and released in May 2011. The Galaxy S3 was revealed and released in May 2012. The Galaxy S4 shown off in March and released in April 2013. We hope to catch a first glimpse of the Galaxy S5 around March 2014 , with the likely release it about a month later.

It is possible that Samsung will try to push forward after disappointing sales S4. There has been talk of a release of January and some evidence that the S5 will be revealed at MWC in February, but this is pure speculation at this point , and we'll be surprised if the manufacturer of South Korea is much deviates from its schedule launches usual.

This comes in the metal

The idea that Samsung could break with tradition and produce a badge with a metal body instead of plastic first appeared back in June . It was a vague idea to begin with, but in August the metal chassis S5 rumor has some meat on her bones when the news site ET News Korea suggested magnesium and aluminum materials as possible .
The review of the Galaxy range has long focused on what some perceive as a " cheap plastic feeling " and many other flagship smartphones in the same price range have chosen aluminum designs . If Samsung decides to switch to metal probably mean a heavier , more expensive device , and could mean the end of the removable battery .
It is worth noting that this new metal could be the Samsung Galaxy M mysterious , a stopgap on the calendar flagship that can land a couple of months before the S5 . A report in GalaxyS5Info suggests just that, and also recognizes that the polycarbonate Faux Leather Note 3 could make an appearance in S5 .
There is also a possibility that the S5 carbon fiber can be used in its construction. Android Beat reported an association between Samsung Petrochemical and SGL Group ( one of the largest producers of carbon fiber in the world). It is an extremely lightweight and strong material, so that it could be ideal.

New Design

Even if the Galaxy S5 does not end his love affair with plastic that does not mean it will look different from its predecessors. The Galaxy S line has stuck to a certain aesthetic design , the S3 and S4 are particularly alike, but if the patent that the patent appeared Bolt is anything to go by , then the S5 could ditch the home button and adopt a new angularly factor .
64-bit processor , like the iPhone 5S
Not long after the iPhone 5S moving head revealed Samsung , JK Shin told the Korea Times, " our upcoming smartphones have the processing functionality of 64 bits. " It's a safe bet that the Samsung Galaxy S5 want to meet or exceed the iPhone 5S in terms of performance and so it is likely to have a 64-bit chip .
According to online newspaper in Korea, the S5 could wear a 6 Exynos processor, a new 14nm chip with 64-bit support and octa configuration - core ARM Cortex Big.Little A53/A57 . Whatever the details, we can safely assume Samsung will be gunning for the top spot in the performance benchmarks .
Hopefully at least 3 GB of RAM to support it, but Samsung is already producing mobile DRAM 4GB LPDDR3 , so it's always a possibility.

Eye safety scanning ?

According AndroidSAS the Galaxy S5 could be above the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S and take the lead in security with biometric eye scan sensor . The idea is that the S5 owners will scan your eyes in order to unlock their smartphones. This means offering a higher level of security, but the sources are unnamed and there is nothing to substantiate the rumor. We will be sure to keep an eye on this one.

No fingerprint scanner

We have seen a report from the Korea Herald on a Samsung official is quoted as saying " We have never officially admitted that Samsung was weighing system fingerprints and Knox to note 3 for the security functions . , We are not developing yet technology . "
Still, this is Samsung we're talking about . We would not be surprised to see a fingerprint sensor of some kind. Samsung knows how to move fast on new technology. Of course , if the eye examination rumor has some truth to it and then fingerprints are out the window.

Multi - person videoconferencing , using both cameras

Conference Call Patenta Samsung patent discovered by GalaxyClub.nl hints that Samsung may be updating its ChatON messaging service to include several conference calls people . The property, which includes the screenshot you see here , indicates that the software can allow both front and rear cameras video along with multiple visible flows along the bottom of the screen. Sounds a bit like conference system itself Google phone available through Hangouts , which can support ten different foods at the same time. If the software that came with the Galaxy S5 , can come either as part of Chaton , or a new feature TouchWiz .

Galaxy S5 could run Tizen OS

Samsung has not given up his own Tizen OS. The International Business Times recognizes the company may launch a version of the Galaxy S5 Tizen . Was it Samsung will release two different versions of the S5 , one with and one with Tizen Android 4.4 KitKat ? It seems unlikely , and we do not think Samsung is ready to ditch Android for its own platform yet. Perhaps the version of Tizen may be limited to specific markets, if it exists . We'll have to wait and see.

A 16 megapixel camera

There were early suggestions that the Galaxy would S5 sports a 13 megapixel camera , possibly with optical image stabilization , but now we are hearing different. ET News predicts that Samsung will opt for a 16 megapixel sensor that is capable of making better low light performance than the competition.
The new sensor will be produced in house and will feature technology Samsung ISOCELL that " substantially increased sensitivity to light and effectively controls the absorption of electrons , resulting in greater color fidelity , even in low light conditions . "

Waterproof comes standard

Smartphones are getting tougher . At the beginning of this new cycle flagship Xperia Z caused a sensation with his credentials waterproof and dustproof . Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 active as a water- resistant variant of its flagship, but ET News thinks the Galaxy S5 can take things a step further and be resistant to water and dust out of the box . According to the report , " industry sources ," says the S5 Galaxy will meet the same standards as the active S4, which will bring in line with some of the other major smartphone Android.

That's it for the roundup rumor Samsung Galaxy S5 , but come back soon because we will update this article with new rumors as they arise .
